A SOBRECARGA DO FAMILIAR DA PESSOA COM ESQUIZOFRENIA: uma revisão sistemática

Introduction: Schizophrenia is one of the mental disorders classified as highly incapacitating, promoting a greater exclusion this individual from his tasks performed, and social life. The definition diagnosis, although necessary, causes changes not only for individual, but also affects family. Objective: This article aims to investigate occurrence overload in family caregivers individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. Methods: research consists systematic review literature qualitative, descriptive exploratory approach. For survey articles literature, following databases were consulted, Scielo, PePsic VHL Regional Portal, using descriptors schizophrenia, burden caregiver, keyword “family”, search operator used was “and”. Results: results found, selected articles, agree point difficulties experienced by social, economic health fields, causing high levels burden. Conclusions: We conclude that understanding more about psychological impacts members when receiving diagnosis schizophrenia their members, we make it possible, addition knowledge topic total impact on family, plan strategies minimize organization structure, better quality face reality disorder.
